The Adventure...Weeks 3 and 4

Well, I started out the week with a strange 'flu' that had various joints and muscles inflamed, altho I only had a fever for one day. I enjoyed some quiet time reading, and writing, including writing recipes for the cookbook I am writing for. God is faithful. It turns out that I have strep in my joints, something that is not common and something I need to take care to treat properly, even if I do not like using antibiotics for it. I wasn't even sick, had no sore throat warning at all before I had a slight fever and then swollen joints. I have 'hit or miss' pics of meals. I haven't been eating much but I've stuck to my plant only routine.

I'm thankful for
much variety and

That's alot of plant foods, friends and I am SO thankful for them. God is amazing and His food is delicious. I love simple meals. They are easy, and with a little thinking ahead, they make life much less complicated. It's part of how I keep my schedule as uncluttered as I can because I do not do well with frenzy. I need time to think and hear God and do His bidding.

Here's to the first month of my birthday gift behind me! It's been a great one so far (well ,except for the strep business!)
